Installing Vinyl Flooring

You can install vinyl flooring over a range of subfloors including concrete and wood. Before you lay down your vinyl sheets, planks or tiles you will need to make sure the subfloor is flat and level.  For concrete floors this may mean using levelling compounds or laying down a plywood base. 

For wood floors make sure all the floorboards are in good condition and not loose or damaged.  Also check all the nails are properly flattened down.  If not then they could damage the underside of the vinyl once it has been installed.
